UX Researcher & Designer
I keep people at the center of the things we build.
I study how people make sense of information, how they navigate uncertainty, and how the systems we build shape that process in ways we rarely intend. MS in Human-Centered Design & Engineering from the University of Washington; currently a research assistant in vision science at Meta, previously with Duo Security, Humana, and the Center for an Informed Public.
Selected work
- Designing Misinformation Interventions for X Users trusted community-driven corrections more than platform labels — but only when the source was visible.
- 2FA Beyond the Basics: A Usability Study of Duo Mobile Three catastrophic failures in the account-linking flow meant the people who needed 2FA most were the ones who couldn't set it up.
- DubsBooks: Reimagining the Textbook Purchase Process Students weren't frustrated with the bookstore — they were frustrated with everything around it.
If you're working on something at the edge of what people understand and what systems assume, let's talk.
